Terms of Sale
Article 1: Definitions
The purpose of this clause is to define the various essential terms of the contract:
“La Belle Batterie” means the trademark owned by the company Batteries For People.
“Client” means any individual who has purchased the La Belle Batterie Kit
“User” means any individual who uses the certificate or the material made available by La
Belle Batterie.
“Vehicle” means the vehicle for which the client wishes to certify the traction battery.
“Traction battery” means the accumulator used to supply the electrical energy necessary for
the traction (or propulsion) of an electric vehicle. The traction battery will be referred to
hereinafter as the “battery.”
“Car manufacturer” means the company that put the vehicle on the market and will be
referred to hereinafter as the “manufacturer.”
“Certificate” means the paper and digital document specific to the vehicle and its battery at a
given time.
“Indicators” means the data and measurements provided in the certificate.
“La Belle Batterie Kit” means the package sent to a customer in order to provide him/her with
the equipment necessary to perform a diagnostic test of the battery to be certified. It
includes: a tutorial and a prepaid envelope, as well as a box and vehicle-specific tool, both of
which are to be returned to Batteries For People via the return envelope. Hereinafter, it will
be referred to as the “Kit.”
“Box” means the device to be connected to the vehicle’s OBDII port.
“Tool” means the tool facilitating access to the vehicle’s OBDII port.
“Return Envelope” means the envelope with padded protection provided in the Kit, which is
prepaid and pre-addressed to the address of Batteries For People.
“Test” means the action performed to recover the indicators thanks to the OBDII port of the
vehicle to be certified and the box on loan from La Belle Batterie in the Kit.
Article 2: Purpose
The purpose of these Terms of Sale is to provide a legal framework for the delivery of the La
Belle Batteries certificate services and their use by the User.
The Terms of Sale must be accepted by any User who wants to certify his/her battery. They
constitute the contract between the La Belle Batterie and the User. Purchase of the Kit by
the User constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Sale.
Article 3: Validity of the indicators
The indicators used to establish the certificate are those corresponding to the vehicle
identified in the “Vehicle Identification” section, collected on the date of the test by the La
Belle Batterie technical team and/or its equipment. These indicators are likely to change over
time.
Article 4: LBB’s responsibility
The indicators in this certificate are provided for informational purposes and do not engage
the responsibility of La Belle Batterie. The indicators are measured and calculated by the
vehicle’s on-board software, which is the manufacturer’s property. La Belle Batterie relays
these indicators, unchanged, in the certificate.
Article 5: User’s responsibility
The user undertakes to carry out the test using the Kit provided, under the conditions set by
La Belle Batterie. The user undertakes not to degrade the box or the tool supplied in the Kit,
and to return them, in the return envelope provided, within 7 days of the test, and within 30
days of the date the Kit is received.
Article 6: Payment service provider
All financial transactions between the client and La Belle Batterie are carried out via Stripe

Until proof is provided to La Belle Batterie that the return envelope has been mailed, the
certificate will not be sent to the client. If the test is not performed within the limit of 30 days
after receipt of the Kit, La Belle Batterie will not issue the certificate included in the purchase
of the Kit. In the event of loss or deterioration of the equipment supplied in the kit, declared
by the customer or observed by La Belle Batterie, or if the equipment is not delivered to La
Belle Batterie within 30 days of receipt of the Kit, the client will automatically be debited the
outstanding amount plus an indemnity of 20 euros by the payment service provider.
Article 8: Right of withdrawal
The customer may exercise his/her right of withdrawal within the limit of 14 days after
purchase. If the client exercises this right, he/she is required to return the entire Kit to the
shipping address indicated on the Kit, at his/her expense. Once the kit has been received by
La Belle Batterie, the client will be reimbursed for the value of the kit (excluding shipping
costs)—i.e., 29 euros.
Article 9: Intellectual property
The trademarks, logos, markings, and any other content of the test are subject to protection
by French Intellectual Property Code and, more specifically, by copyright.
The User must request the prior authorization of La Belle Batterie for any reproduction,
publication or copy of the various content.
Article 10: User account
The creation of a user account on the labellebatterie.com website is not compulsory for the
creation and delivery of the certificate. However, without a personal account, no paper or
digital duplicate can be transmitted to the client. In the case of a client account, the user is
free to access, free of charge and at any time, a digital version of his/her certificates, and/or
to purchase a paper duplicate deliverable to his/her home.
Article 11: Protection of personal data
The information requested at the time of registration on the site is necessary and mandatory
for the creation of the User’s account. In particular, the email address may be used by the
site for the administration, management and coordination of the service.
The site provides the User with the collection and processing of personal data while
respecting the User’s privacy in accordance with the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of
January 6, 1978. The site is declared at the CNIL under the number ( number pending ).
Under articles 39 and 40 of the law dated January 6, 1978, the User has the right of access,
right to correct, right to delete, and right to object to his/her personal data. The User may this
