Find out more about the Mercedes classe B
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class range comprises three distinct models: the C 300 e Hatch, the C 400 e Hatch and the C 300 e Break. The C 300 e Saloon and C 400 e Saloon are saloon versions of the C-Class equipped with plug-in hybrid powertrains. The C 300 e Saloon is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine combined with an electric motor integrated into the automatic gearbox, while the C 400 e Saloon has an in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with the same plug-in hybrid configuration. The C 300 e Estate, on the other hand, is an estate variant of the C-Class, offering greater load space but sharing the same plug-in hybrid technology as the C 300 e Hatch.
Under the bonnet of the Mercedes C-Class petrol, the 2-litre four-cylinder engine develops 204 bhp. It is combined with rear-wheel drive. The 400 e 4MATIC version, on the other hand, is equipped with a more powerful version of the same engine, offering 252 bhp, and is available exclusively on the C-Class Saloon. Depending on the choice of transmission and powertrain, the C-Class Plug-In Hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 to 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of between 232 and 250 km/h.
