The Mitsubishi i-MiEV is an urban electric car produced by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors and developed in collaboration with Peugeot and Citroën. It is equipped with a 49 kW electric motor, which equals a total power of 66 hp, and is powered by a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery. The i-MiEV has a maximum range of about 165 km on a full battery charge. The car can be charged in about 6 hours with a Type 2 charger, or in 30 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger.
Unlike the Citroën C-Zéro and Peugeot Ion models, the Mitsubishi I-Miev is only available in a version equipped with a 16 kWh battery. It also uses a different battery technology, specific to the Japanese market, being the SCiB battery.
