On sale since 2021, the Q4 e-tron is the 100% electric compact SUV launched by Audi. One thing sets it apart from the rest: this vehicle promises a range of over 500 km on a single charge. In addition to the classic e-tron version, the new electric Audi Q4 is also available in a coupé-like sportback version.

The Audi Q4 e-tron uses lithium-ion batteries to power its electric motor. The cathodes of these batteries are based on nickel, manganese and cobalt (NMC). The batteries are assembled in modules, which are then connected to form a complete battery. The number of modules varies according to the battery’s capacity.
The 52 kWh on-board battery is made up of 288 lithium-ion cells, with a nominal voltage of 355 volts. Each cell has a capacity of 181 Ah and a nominal voltage of 3.75 volts. The battery weighs around 360 kg.
The Q4 e-tron is equipped with a fast-charging system, enabling the battery to be recharged at up to 110 kW direct current (DC), recovering up to 80% of the battery’s charge in around 36 minutes. In slow charge mode, the battery can be charged to a maximum of 7.4 kW in alternating current (AC), allowing recovery of up to 100% of the battery charge in around 7 hours.
This version is equipped with a 125 kW (170 hp) electric motor, giving a maximum range of 336 km (WLTP cycle).
