Moba has achieved the first European certification for the diagnosis and certification of electric vehicle batteries for its Moba Certify Pro solution.
The first standard for electric vehicle battery certification
In February 2023, CARA Europe published the first European standard for the diagnosis and certification of electric vehicle batteries. For a solution to be certified “Battery Health Check CARA Approved,” it must meet specific criteria.
To obtain CARA certification, a battery diagnostic solution must meet the following requirements:
- Intervention time of less than 2 minutes
- No driving test required
- Coverage of more than 80% of the European electric vehicle fleet
- Battery State of Health report (SOH) as calculated by the manufacturer
CARA Europe is an association that brings together the main European leaders in automotive remarketing, such as Arval (BNP Paribas), ALD Automotive (Société Générale), Auto1, and Cox Automotive.

This web service also provides detailed analyses and features for managing teams and sites, including multi-invoicing management.
